Because it is written in JAVA, it runs under all popular operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh, Linux/Unix).
A special Microsoft Windows version is available packaged as a ".exe" file, to make it even easier to use.
To keep the application simple-to-use, it continuously updates (re-reads data from the device), and maintains a history of unit addresses that the user has previously accessed (thus the pull-down menu labeled "RNA-device...").
